COMPRESSED AIRLINE SUPPLY SYSTEM AND REEL AIRLINE

The Sabre ASTRAL effectively consists of two units: the AST (Airline System Trolley) and the RAL (Reel Airline), ASTRAL can be purchased as a complete unit, or AST and RAL can be supplied separately.                

The two units are designed to be connected together when used in tandem yet can be easily disconnected when required, for example, limited access entry. ASTRAL is supplied with with wheels enabling simple, one person mobility, and these can be fitted to either  the AST or RAL as

required. Designed for use with two compressed air cylinders of up to 300 bar charging pressure, supplying one or two breathing apparatus wearers, the AST unit features a control panel with reducing valve, fitted with high and medium pressure gauges and warning units. The flexible, high pressure cylinder connection hoses incorporate a non-return valve system allowing cylinder replacement without interrupting air supply. The cylinders are held in place with an adjustable cylinder band allowing the use of cylinders of various diameters. The RAL hose reel unit has a low friction bearing to allow for easy run out of hose and has capacity for up to 90 metres of 10 mm (3/8”) bore hose. RAL has a manifold for connection to a factory airline supply and to the AST unit. Both ASTRAL and RAL units can be fitted with airline filter units if required.
